We created a one-stop website that provided practical information and sources of advice and help on forced marriage. In addition, it sought to help people out of forced marriage by highlighting their plight, breaking taboos associated with the issue and giving victims essential contacts and advice on what to do in order to change their situation. We also worked in conjunction with the Joint Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Home Office Forced Marriage Unit to see that there was sufficient legal protection for people suffering from forced marriage.
